I am a Software Architect and Product Engineer, living and studying in Cameroon as a 3rd-year engineering student at National School of Polytechnic of Douala (ENSPD). Welcome to my universe and my passion - I wish you a pleasant experience exploring wistant.xyz.
My journey began with an early, deep-rooted love for Open Source - a passion that shaped my vision of collaborative, high-performance software. I started as a full-stack developer and evolved into a software architect. Over the past 2+ years, I've shipped scalable platforms across Web, Mobile, and Desktop, contributed heavily to Open Source, and thrown myself into hackathons for the thrill of building under pressure.
Today, my true value isn't just in writing syntax; it lies in what I build, why I build it, and how it scales. I focus on the big picture, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and robust technical architecture. I know exactly what I bring to a team: the ability to design resilient, distributed systems, and the wisdom to know what not to build from scratch. I thrive on creating scalable infrastructures, particularly within the TypeScript ecosystem.
But architecture was never the ceiling - it was the foundation. The deeper I went into designing resilient systems, the more one question kept resurfacing: a system is only as good as how reliably it runs. That question is pulling me toward my next frontier: Cloud, DevOps, and Infrastructure. This means designing not just the software, but the ground it stands on. From CI/CD pipelines that never sleep, to infrastructure that scales without drama, and delivery so efficient it becomes invisible. This is where I'm headed: from architecting systems to architecting the infrastructure that makes systems unbreakable.
In this new era of AI, I orchestrate a highly optimized workflow: I leverage Claude to strategize business logic, design system architectures, and dissect complex concepts. For execution and rapid coding, I rely on Gemini because I deeply appreciate Google's ecosystem, its efficiency, and unparalleled performance. Everything is meticulously structured and managed within Notion, giving me the perfect balance of power and simplicity.
This philosophy is best demonstrated by Shoperzz. Instead of building yet another monolithic application, I architected Shoperzz as a highly scalable, headless e-commerce engine leveraging Vendure and NestJS. It was built with a clear business intent: empowering serious builders with composable, enterprise-ready tools that reduce time-to-market without sacrificing performance. Shoperzz is the culmination of my product engineering mindset - abstracting away complexity to deliver a clean, powerful, and maintainable core infrastructure.
GitHub Contributions
Work Experiences 💼
Unity Link
- Engineered high-performance, robust REST and GraphQL APIs using NestJS and TypeScript.
- Adhered strictly to SOLID principles, design patterns (Factory, Dependency Injection, Repository, and Singleton), and clean modular architectures.
- Designed scalable database architectures, optimized complex SQL queries, and handled migrations and schema designs using Prisma and TypeORM.
- Engineered sleek, dynamic, and responsive front-end dashboard panels and server-side rendered pages using Next.js.
Devia Technologies
- Developed highly interactive, responsive, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces using HTML/CSS and vanilla JavaScript.
- Deployed dynamic front-end scripts, optimized page rendering speed, and handled complex DOM manipulation and state management.
- Architected and built lightweight, fast, and scalable REST APIs using raw (brut) Node.js and Express without heavy external framework abstractions.
- Integrated third-party APIs and orchestrated seamless client-server data flows.
